DOG TRAINING

I looked for a trainer because of Jinx’s aggressive behavior.  He attacked another dog, and might want to go after another.  He felt like he needed to bite all the other dogs.  I spoke with another trainer who referred me to Rico, and he came highly recommended.  I am very happy with the training.  I have seen major improvements.  He listens to me now.  I feel much more comfortable when I take him around other people and dogs, anywhere pretty much.  I recommend anyone who needs training to come to Rico.  I recommend him very highly.

I came to get my dog trained because I saw Rico do a demonstration at the Manchester Carnival.  I wanted to walk my dog, and not have my dog walk me.  Since I came to training he is walkable, he listens, and he is a better companion.  I recommend Rico to train anybody’s dog if they are having issues... it is worth it, totally!

My dog Diamond was out of hand.  She was very fearful and anxious.  We saw Rico do demonstrations at the Taneytown Carnival.  Now that I brought her to Rico, she listens well, is much more calm, and her demeanor is different.  She’s much more confident, and I feel safer when I take her places.  I would definitely encourage having Rico train your dog, he’s great with animals, and also at showing us as the handlers how to train the dog the proper way, not the wrong way.  He makes class fun, too.

I wanted to get better control of Nanook.  She needed to listen more than what she was, and to come back when she ran away.  Since training with Take the Lead, I have a lot more control of her, and our relationship is better.  Now she’s with me all the time, and follows me everywhere.  She seems much more eager to please me. Before we started training she used to be afraid of everyone, especially men. Now Nanook is a lot friendlier and sure of herself.  She will confidently approach both women and men to meet them.  I would highly recommend Take the Lead – their training has been great for us.
